Prior to joining BlackRock, he worked at BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Itaú Unibanco Asset Management, Citibank, Ambev, and CTIS. He holds a master's degree in Economics from Insper, a postgraduate degree in Risk Management from FIA/USP, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from UnB. He is also a member of ANBIMA's Retail Committee.
