Marcus Vinicius Gonçalves is the Sales Head at Franklin Templeton, responsible for the international client market in the US Offshore. He is based in Miami, FL. Marcus joined Franklin Templeton in May 2000, where he led the opening of the company’s first commercial office in Brazil and was instrumental in developing and executing its business strategy. In 2004, he relocated to Miami, Florida, serving for nine years as Director of Investment Channels for the Americas region. He returned to São Paulo in 2013 to lead the local operation, and in 2023, moved back to Miami to take on the US Offshore business. Before joining Franklin Templeton, Marcus served as Head of Products at Sul América Investimentos and as an Equity Portfolio Manager at Bradesco, both in São Paulo. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Law and Economics from the University of São Paulo (USP), and a Master’s degree in Economics from Insper. He also holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 24 licenses, as well as Brazil’s CGA and CPA-20 certifications, and is a CFA Charterholder.
